This plug-in hybrid version of the Jeep Grand Cherokee is available in six trims: the 4xe, the Anniversary Edition 4xe, the Trailhawk 4xe, the Overland 4xe, the Summit 4xe, and the Summit Reserve 4xe.
The Technology
The new Jeep Grand Cherokee has the latest in Jeep technology. Drivers can add the premium McIntosh entertainment system to their Jeep Grand Cherokee with 950W power, a 10-inch subwoofer, a 17-channel amplifier, and 19 speakers.
There’s also a Uconnect 10.1-inch touchscreen with TomTom navigation and a rear seat monitoring camera available in the Grand Cherokee three-row version. It also has a console for the front seat passenger with access to navigation. Passengers in the back will enjoy the rear seat entertainment system with Amazon Fire TV.
The Towing of Off-Roading Capacity
If you need a vehicle that can tow heavy loads, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee is fully capable, with a best-in-class maximum towing capacity of 6,200 pounds. It also has a 4×4 system with a select-terrain traction management system. Drivers can choose from three 4×4 systems: the Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, and Quadra-Drive II with a rear electronic limited-slip differential.
